The players shown on the right are the full official members of ZiT! listed in order of when they joined the clan. They got there through sheer guts, pain and ruthless determination, a bit of arse licking and some hefty bribes.
As a tribute to their greatness they are awarded with these stylish, hand engraved, fancy blue buttons. Crafted from the finest Indian sapphires and etched in 22 carat gold, these buttons usually retail at £5,000 each! What greater gift could a clan give to it’s most loyal subjects? The players with green buttons are our trial members.These buttons are cast from recycled garden waste and stamped with a John Bull printing kit, using magnolia emulsion as ink. They have absolutely no retail value and are not very nice really :)

How do I become a member?
That’s the easy part, just ask Maj ‘H£4Dru$H’ or ‘PHOLIX’ either in the clan servers or in IRC Quakenet.org #ZiT! for a chance to trial. Read our Membership Rules before applying.

Why would I want to?
Damn good question... There’s no free beer, no dancing girls, and too many wankers who spoil the game. If that doesn’t put you off then you’re our man, so give it a shot. Maybe you’re with another clan and think the grass is greener on our side. Even more bizzarely, you might even like us and yearn to be with us. But the real reason is, you just can’t resist having one of those fancy blue buttons with your name on it :)

Acceptance is achieved by generally being yourself, having a regular precence in IRC, being companiable towards your fellow team mates and the way you conduct yourself in clan matches. Trial members are NOT judged on thier gaming ability, being good at the game is a bonus but will not help if you’re a complete twat. In the interest of keeping a comfortable atmosphere within the clan, new members cannot be accepted if 2 or more current members have reservations about ones suitability. No offense, it just makes sence. Remember, it’s not just us being sure about you, it’s also you being sure about us :)

Will I play in official matches as a trial member?
Yes is the short answer, if you’re good enough. All players get a fair chance of playing in official league matches, depending upon the amount of recent games played, who’s available at match time, their ability & the estimated strength of the enemy. Maj keeps a secret tally of who’s played what in his head and decides who will play in upcoming matches. So far nobody has worked out exactly how he does it, so they can’t moan at him when they think they are being left out.
Cup matches are obviously played by our strongest available squad, again chosen by Maj in his infinate wisdom based on players abilities on certain maps with specific weapons. The main criteria for being selected for cup games is your level of ability, communication and teamskills. If you continuously fight like a 1 man army with no regards for your team mates (not: weapon sharing, watching your mates backs, doing the job you’re asked to do & communicating), you will soon be dropped, mainly because no one will want to play with you.
